Fafsa - heading to college? - should we prepare few documents?

Well, trying to apply for the financial aid for students federal aid (FAFSA), you should prepare these documents to be checking your eligibility for grants :

From the FAFSA Web site

• SSN - Social Security number
• Driving license
  
• 2007 W-2 forms / other records of money earned
• 2007 federal income tax return
  
• IRS 1040, 1040A, 1040 EZ
• Foreign tax return
  
• parents' 2007 federal income tax return (if you are a dependent student)
• 2007 untaxed income records - (Social Security, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, welfare and veterans benefits records)
• current bank statements, current business and investment mortgage information, business and farm records, stock, bond and other investment records
• alien registration or permanent resident card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)

Deadlines notification:


2007-2008 FAFSA (Web Applications) should be submitted by midnight Central Daylight time, June 30, 2008.

2008-2009 FAFSA (Web Applications) should be submitted by midnight Central Daylight time, June 30, 2009.
